This lesson introduces the ‘Shadda’ (double letters). 

  • Shadda  – أَبَّ = أبْ + بَ
  • Even though the exercise only deals with 4 letters for practice, it will be a good idea to recap the nun and meem mushaddad, as well as practice with the letters laam and raa.
  • Pay attention to madds too in this lesson. The original madd (2 counts) and the attached madd (Madd Muttasil 4-5 counts)
