Lesson 11: Introduction To Sukoon | Qaida Sessions

This lesson introduces the Sukoon (Vowelless letters). This is the opposite of the harakaat (Fatha, Dammah, Kasra)  that we have explored in previous lessons. The harakat gives movement to the letter and produces a certain sound (A, I, U), whereas with the sukoon we simply land on the letter and then on to the next letter that has a harakat

E.g Waswaas وَسْوَاس

Make sure care is taken by the teacher when doing the rule of Sukoon with the Qalqala letters (revise the rule as you go over them). 

Take care of the attributes of Shadda, Rakhawa and Tawasut
